Our founder, Jeff Cogswell, is, first and foremost, a software engineer with over 20 years of experience. While leading Cogsmedia Training, he continues to work as one of the industry’s most sought-after programmers, continually refining his skills and keeping up with the newest technologies. But he’s also one of the finest teachers around. For him, teaching is an art form that goes back to his days in graduate school teaching Mathematics at Western Michigan University. Teaching is not for everyone; as such Jeff only accepts the finest teachers into his organization. While the big companies are hiring lecturers who have little or no industry experience, Cogsmedia only brings in experts who also have the unique talent of teaching.
Additionally, Jeff Cogswell has written many critically-acclaimed books, including several in the popular “For Dummies” series, as well as one of the first books about C++, the award-winning Simple C++.
The Cogsmedia teaching techniques are unique and proven—just ask his clients at companies such as Amway, Alpha Software, Probatum, and PECO-Facet.
Our classes are small and personalized. Our instructors are right there, working alongside the students, ready to answer questions.
